Heads Will Roll: 50# 5 – Jump ring dips/Pull up- blue band… + Snow removal.. Can we count this in the workout…

Failed on 3rd attempt at 155# for the push jerk (and the second one was really ugly)

Couldn’t get in to the gym today BUT I “got to” shovel a boatload of snow from my driveway, so I think that’s got to count for something. Jeff is away and the snow blower decided to die (how con-veeeen-ient!), leaving me with no option but ye old shovel. My neighbor was out there with his snow blower and I tried to wave and he actually avoided eye contact with me…probably thought I was going to *gasp* ask for some help.
Anyway, this sounds sappy but I did turn to my CF training for physical and mental inspiration. I set my back while shoveling and told myself that I am strong and that “THIS is why I train.” Not to PR, not to look awesome…I mean, those things are/would be nice, but really at the end of the day, being able to be an awesomely capable human being is what it’s all about.
Having said all this, I am SO freaking over the winter.
It counts!!!! Trust me…. Carbo loading helps too… AKA “Pancake-Gate”
