Back Squats: Worked up to 225# for 5. Like Bill, didn’t see a need to push much harder today. Cash out was something. I can’t believe Mel made us fight through 2000 double unders. Seems unfair. Good luck, evening folks. Oh and it was a slow 4:30.

Back squat: climbed to 105# Cash out: 3:15

Back squat 175×5, tried 185 twice but couldn’t get out of the hole. Things to remember for next time: 1. high bar back squat is new for you Megan, so be patient with yourself; 2. pack your darn knee sleeves. Cash out 5:53 with some medball cleans thrown in to save the shoulder.

Back Squat: worked up to 210#x5. Still felt good but did not want to push it. Cash Out: 3:something. More DU practice. Hopefully it serves me well in the morning.

Back Squat 185# for 5… well 5 1/2 actually. Didn’t quite get the depth on the 5th after struggling on the 4th, pushed through another anyways and got it. Thanks for the push 6:30 and the pointers Kate, never been able to get this depth before. Cash out 3:26 20#… think I did a few more than 100, counting is not my strength haha
Jay Fri 02.28.2014 at 9:34am
Back Squats 195# for 5, then could only get 205# for 2 – that’s a new PR for me… Had the same problem as Megan staying in the hole too long. I think I also need a bigger belly to make sure my knees go OUT when I hit the bottom… I was bringing them in – total loss of power…
Cash out 4:12 with 20# – I think I lost a good 20-30 seconds chasing the damn ball around the box when it bounced off the laces and went away from me. In the spirit of Megan’s “things to remember for next time”, with ball smashes I will take the advice of Ace Ventura & Ray Finkell – LACES OUT… 🙂

Back squats 145#, Cash Out 1:40 10# (but I only had to do 50…next time I will do 100 with the rest of you)
