NEW EXPANDED SCHEDULE:
- Our newly expanded schedule is effective this week with 5:30a AND 6:30a classes on Tuesday and Thursday. See the new schedule HERE.
- We are also kicking off our CrossFit Specialty class each week at 4:30-5:30p on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. See below for more details.
- Kids (6-12) classes continue to be a hit with our small friends at 4:30-5:30p on Tuesdays and Thursday.
CROSSFIT ENDURANCE CLASSES ARE HERE: We have chosen CrossFit Endurance as the basis for our first round of specialty classes. We will work on rowing and running technique with video analysis. Plus, do a workout that will be interval or time-trial based (ie 1-mile run, 2K row, 5 x 500m row, 3 x 800m run, etc.) The endurance classes are designed to supplement your normal CrossFit classes, but it’s okay if you can’t get to both . You will see benefits from this class whether you attend 1 per week or even 3 per week. You’ll find this class extremely helpful if you (a) struggle with running and rowing WODs, (b) you’re a local 5K, 10K or half-mary runner, or (b) you’re a triathlete or distance-runner.
WE NEED YOUR INPUT: We are also considering a new Teens class (12-18) and an additional adult 8:30a class… if you or your family have any interest in those, please let Mel or Rap know via email or when you see us in the box.
DAYBREAK INTERNAL THROW DOWN & SOCIAL: If you haven’t already, sign up for our Spring shindig at the front desk! We have enough participants for 12(!) teams… this is going to be a fun competition that will accommodate ALL our members.
RUN COURSE: There has been some confusion as to exactly where the corner points are on Daybreak’s 400m run course. The photo above shows that there are a series of red semi-circles at all turning points. To get a true measure of your fitness, be sure you’re running around those turn points to get your full 400m distance!
NEW PALEO NATURALS IN OUR STORE: We’v teamed up with Paleo Naturals to offer you healthy snack and supplement choices from Un-Granola (no gluten or grains) to Nutrition and Recover bars. A great way to avoid junk snacks when you’re on the go!
WEIGHTLIFTING COMPETITION @CROSSFIT RESILIENCE: We have several members heading out to Hopkinton to compete in this lifting competition that highlights Olympic lifting (Snatch, Clean & Jerk) along with power lifting (Bench and Deadlift). If interested, check out the details HERE.
