Holleyman- 33:00? 70# (should have gone with 75#) 10# WB HSH for 5 sec..
First time doing the full 30 rounds on this one. Last time we did it on 4/12/14, I did it w/ a partner and we only did 15 rounds each, using 190# for the cleans. Time was 19:30, so roughly 39:00 if I did all 30 rounds.
Today – 34:51 @ 190#. I’ll take it.
Thanks to all at the 9:30 for keeping me going those last 5 rounds. Helped a ton.
Way to WORK!
Way to push!!
holleyman: LIke Bill, last time I did it was with a partner (Scott) and only did 15 rounds. Today, struggled through and completed 26 rounds before time ran out. HSPU’s were tough and became pretty ugly with the latter rounds. 165# on the cleans.
Great job!
Holleyman 25:07 WB rx; HSPU (11rds: 45#+10#+abmat; 19rds 45#+25#+abmat); 105# cleans.
Next time I will stay with 10#plate but low back was aching from my tight glutes and hams courtesy of the lunges Thurs 🙂 Was not sure what to do for weight on cleans, but I realistically could have been 110-115# today. Exciting!
Progress!! Great job!
Holleyman- 34:58 with 195lbs. Gnarly workout! Cleans were brutal from the start. The Daybreak community was in full force today! Happy bday Sam!
Holleyman – 28:11 (75# cleans, 14#WB, 2 abmat HSPU ). Cleans felt weightless but my left arm was hurting warming up so it’s for the better.
Holleyman- 22:00 rx
“Ya know what I have in a box in my basement?” – Justin.
Holleyman: 28:50rx @ 185# and 1 abmat for the first 15, then 2 for strict hspu.
Awesome morning! DCF brought it on this one in the 8 and 9 😉 23:59rx
28:18, 75#, 12#, bench HSPU. Excellent WOD. Very happy with my results.
30:49. 135# cleans, 14# WB, 1 ab mat.
“Holleyman” 29:28 12# WB, 95# cleans and KHSPU’s. It’s hard to gage what weight to use on a WOD like this. I need to add 10# to whatever weight I think I can do. I loved this one!
HollyMan right at 35 min (but realize now I finished at the WBS, not the ugly “extra” set of HSPU) 195#. Great working with you Andrew and Happy Birthday Sam. I do enjoy the Sat AM energy…
28:18 rx. Strict hspu through 23 rounsat kipping the last 7. Turf burn on the top of my head. Dumb mistake to kip on turf I guess
32:15 – 155#, 2 ab mat strict hspu
Crazy good energy this morning. This is what HERO WODs are all about. Keeping positive. High-fiving. No complaining. Perfect start to the weekend. 33:53 rx.
Holleyman – 31:25 115#. That was tough but great!! Great group as always!
Holleyman- 29:42 or 52? 105#, 10#, and 1 abmat for Strict HSPU but started to really struggle so I used a 10# plate as well.
Holleyman – 30:11 135# 14#WB 1 abmat strict for almost all rounds. Had to kip the last two.
29:38 105# 12# 2 ab mats and plate
20:38 super 1 arm modified.
Ball squats, 1 arm strict press 35#, 155# cleans
Capped out.
25+5 wall balls. Rx
THAT, was awesome.
In your honor, staff sergeant Holleyman.
Holleyman- 35 min cap – 21 rds + 6 ( 14 # to 10ft, 1 ab mat rds 1-14, 1 mat + 10# plate for rest, and 135# clean)
Massive struggle on the hspu around rd 12. Super frustrating and a lot time staring at the wall. Really bummed I couldn’t finish this one. Goal for next time I guess
31: ? NO ABMATS!! 105# clean
