Lourdes is spot on. Community just rocked it this weekend. From the half-marathon race in Providence (which Sara B, Brit and Mel ran) to the SOBO comp, our fan club and support crew were twice as deep as everyone else’s. Can’t say it enough: so proud of the community that all of YOU have built.

“Mary” – 6+6 Rx (Strict HSPU)
I know that I’ve done this before, but I can’t find a record of my old score. All sets of HSPU were strict and unbroken. As for pull-ups, I’ve struggled with them for quite awhile and have told myself to start pushing myself to do butterfly PU’s. That said, I always come up w/ an excuse or chicken out on doing them. Today, I didn’t and I did all butterfly’s, mainly sets of 3 or more for the duration of the WOD, under the watchful eye of Kate to ensure I got my chin over. A long way to go but I think I can now say that I’m not going back to standard kipping pull-ups. Only butterfly from here on out.
Slightly different version of “Mary”- 5 strict hspu/10 pistols/5 strict chest to bar pull-ups. 6+2. Shoulders couldn’t handle the kipping today. Too sore from Saturdays wod.
Mary 5 or 6 +35 5 HSPU with 2 AB mats 20 AS 15 PU This is a small PR last time I was doing set of 10 PU this time 15 with stringing at least 10 together on a few rounds. HSPU with mats last time HS holds. Small rip on my hand and changed to ring rows for the last two rounds…
10+12 rx… had a little issue with my round counting so I’m taking the lower number. In my 4+ years of CrossFit, this is the first time with Mary. Good grinder of a WOD. I liked this one, but oof, the hands.

Mary – 6 rounds + 20 (5 bench HSPU, 6 assisted pistols and 8 air squats, 10 red and green band PU). Got my first assisted pistol today! 🙂

7+13, 2 ab mats and 5# plate, assisted pistols & ring rows last 1.5 rounds (BOO to rips!)
5 rounds Plus 25 (2abmats ans assist pistols)
7+16 5# plate for HSPU for 3 rounds then went to two 5# plates for the last 4 rounds.
8+8. Rx. Pistols were better. But still a struggle for volume. Andrew was lapping me like I was standing still. He was cruising.
