155# max front squat
“Top of the World” – 6 sets + 3 of 35# DB press on left arm only then 65# for hang power clean + front squat
270#, a 5 pound pr. failed an attempt at 290 – shouldnt have jumped so high. 8 rounds rx. in hindsight…probably shouldve paced more. finishing 2 rounds in 58 seconds to start was not the key to longevity in this one.
#210 front squat (5 or 10# PR cannot remember if previous 1RM was #200 or #205)
#holyshitbatman
YES!
270# front squat 5 rounds+20
260# front squat – 15# PR
Top of the World: 7 +1 Rx
HUGE! Congrats
Nice job, Willis!!!
Dude. Way to snap back!
195# front squat (baby steps)
“Top of the World” – 6+3 Rx
Top of the world – 150# fs (10# super slo-mo PR). 6+16 rx. GREAT cues to help me improve today- thank you Mel!
Heck yes!
75# front squat max, maybe could’ve gone a little higher but ran out of time. Thanks AK for working with me.
“Top of the World” 7+ 4, 45#
Great Work Kathy! Your FS was looking solid!
FS max 155#, PR for me!
“Top of the World”, 5+ 12, 65#
Yeah PR! 🙂
160# Front Squat, 6 total rounds (2 rounds at 65#, 4 at 55# dropped b/c of press)
Top of the world- 115# – 25# PR 4+12 /round 1 50# 3+45# Overhead was tough today- tweaked my neck yesterday with the Handstand PU.
25?! Nice!
That would be correct!! 🙂
Triple digits! Nice Sherry.
280# FS – had the no dropping in my head, so stopped there.
8+1 Rx – did not realize FS smoked the shoulders.
265# Front Squat – 50# PR
“Top of the World” 7 + 7 Rx
5-0… whaaat?!
FS 275#. 8 rounds. Rx.
115# FS (this is definitely way more than I have ever attempted. Maybe by 40-50 lbs.)
Top of the world 4+14 at 55#
215# FS (10#PR) Think I may have had a little more in me but I’ll take it! So many huge PR’s today! Keep it up everyone!
#DCFgetsstronger well done crew — keep working hard and crushing those PRs 🙂
235# FS (last recorded max was 155# (must have been more)
Top of the World: 6+12 25#DB Presses
Willis thanks for the push on the FS.
Oh.My.Shoulders.
Front Squat – 265#. Not sure if this is a PR, but in guessing yes considering my back squat PR was 275# awhile ago.
“Top of the World” – 8+7 Rx
FS: 260 (5# pr)… broke a long standing pr. 255 was done June 2013 in the daybreak parking lot.
wod: 8+2Rx took awhile to find the magic scheme. 4,8,6 rest 6 short rest was it for me… hook gripping at the top of the press after four. fun racing with Bill.
Great job 12:30
amazing prs everyone!!!
Look at this list. TONS of Front Squat PRs! Isn’t it cool to know that even though we don’t focus on isolated strength lifts very often, that all of our strength numbers are climbing! We are getting optimal combinations of weight, metcon and body-weight through our everyday WODs and programming. Many folks have asked why we don’t “lift” before our WODs and now you know.
215 Front Squat
“Top of the World” 6 +2 Rx
Front Squat – 160#
Top of the World – 7+4 rx
Had my share of front squats yesterday with the Hatch cycle so no maxing out today. 8+20 rx.
Front squat: stopped at 130# head wasn’t all there.
“Top of the World” 7+2 55#
Front squat: 271 (16lb PR) had to break out the fractionals to get Manchester by 1! Huge PR for me. Further proof that our programming is amazing #strength
6+2 RX on the wod. Shoulders were toast
thats awesome
Front Squat 105#
Top of the World, 45#, 5 rds even
Front squat #150 #5pr. push press turned into a gaggle f for me thanks Sara
#55 first round , #45 next 5
FS: 120# — not a PR, but my wrists hurt and I decided to stick there.
Top of the World: 4 rounds even Rx.
FS – 125# – I’m sure it’s a PR. My attempt at 135# was close but I had to call it a no rep.
Top of the World – 5 rds, 65#
FS: 205# – Definitely a PR. Top of the world- 5 rds +21 35 lb Dumbbell Press (shoulder) RX rest of it. Thanks for a great scaling option Mel. Got the most out of it without hurting shoulder.
Front Squat 110# for the first single in rep scheme…had to move on to WOD. DEF had more in me! And that lift was a 5# PR 🙂 Felt really good with the movement – psyched!
Top of the World 6+3 50# Holy Deltoids…
That’s exciting!
#185 FS, failed at #205, should have tried #195. Top of the World – 6 rds #75. Everything felt good tonight.
235# FS, pretty sure this is a PR think my old one was 205, it’s more a struggle of keeping it in front rack than anything
Top of the World 7+4, shoulder mod of 4 HC’s, 8 FS’s, 12 DL’s.
145# FS i think?
9+4 i did push ups instead of presses, my shoulder has been bothering me when its locked out over head
