21:09 subbed 20 PU for BMU. Couldn’t get the 20 RD with the 20 PU, chest pretty tight from yesterday’s bench. On the positive side I hit a set of 40 DU’s during the WOD and I hit my weight loss goal for the month by 2 lbs. this am….

Just wanted to pop in to report that I made progress on my #pursuebetter goals.
– came to Daybreak 2x/week this month (8 visits this month!)
– established new 1rm bench press
– nurtured and protected my brain (scaled/modded wods so they mostly didn’t trigger migraines)

Riptide: 25:11 45# 20 blue band assist PU, box tricep dips, did 10 DU attempts, went to 100 singles rest of the WOD out frustration…love the mental game of a chipper WOD!

Riptide: 22:40 35# 35 DU (huge for me) 20 pull ups/20 ring dips on GHD RX burpees:)!
Was not feeling well so this was a huge mental and physical battle but I got it done. I think those are the slowest burpees I have done in my life b/c I did not want to barf during them…unlike the crew boys that brought the buckets over to barf in???? What is that?
23:58 #75 ended up switching to SU after the first 50 DU. Tried doing MUA, but ended up changing to C2B and dips.
Riptide — 22.39 (45#, 20 RR for MUs, 35 DU/DUA). Couldn’t string together DUs consistently today — have to keep practicing. That WOD was no joke.
