TODAY’S CLASS AND EVENT SCHEDULE
The time has come! Thank you to all (over 100 of you!) for your support of the memorial fund of 1LT Scott F. Milley. We’ve shattered all our fundraising goals and are honored to remember this fallen hero with you. Details of the event, how to register/donate, etc., are HERE, but a quick run down of the schedule is below.

Daybreak Members Only:
7:00 AM: There is only 1 class today at 7am for those who can’t make our main event later this morning.
All “Milley” WOD Registrants:
9:00 AM: Athlete check-ins begin.
9:20 AM: A few words of thanks from Steve Milley (Scott’s father).
9:30 AM: 1st heat begins. Heats will be posted around 9a at Daybreak, we can adjust as needed upon check-in.
11:30/12:00: Barbecue/social begins. Don’t forget your beverage of choice (some kid-friendly beverages will be served) and lawn chair. We’ll have seating for about 50 or so.

About “Milley”
While conducting combat operations in the Baraki Barak district of Afghanistan, 1LT Scott Francis Milley, of Sudbury, Massachusetts, was killed leading his soldiers when insurgents attacked his unit. He died on November 30, 2010, at the age of 23. Milley was a recipient of the Bronze Star, Combat Infantryman’s Badge and the Purple Heart. He is survived by his mother, Janice, father, Steve Sr., brother, Steve Jr., and sister, Ashley.

I am honored to have been able to participate in such an a amazing event today. I met the Milley family for the first time today and am blown away by how truly amazing and strong they are. Thank you to the Milley family, Mel & Rap, and the entire coaching staff; Michele, Erica and Bill for their guidance and support today. Great job to ALL participants, it was great to make new friends today. RIP Lt. Milley, you will never be forgotten ??????
