“Lounge Fly” – I missed this one the first time around. Looks like we were away for the weekend. Great energy today…even when Kate tried to blow up our hammy’s by holding us at mid-shin for 38 minutes. 🙂

So…I made a mistake. Thought kipping was allowed but have since figured out that the first time we did this wod, it was strict. So..in that case, gotta take back the Rx, as I kipped.
11:16 rx. strict HSPU, and all pistols on my left leg, finally listening to my knee and not being stubborn, saving the bad knee for another day.

“Lounge Fly” – 15:46 25 DU attempts, #185 DL, 1 abmat strict . Melis and I made it to the Cool Kid Crew this morning at 5:30 am. Awesome energy in the morning class.
Left my blue fleece zip up hanging on the chair. If someone could put it in one of the cubby holes, that would be awesome.

Lounge Fly – 15:25 [20# ball slams for dubs, 2 ab mat strict hspu, assisted pistols] pistols are really close – I think I’ll get them once Russ and I get through the hatch. Great class this morning.
Lounge Fly: 19:27 Rx. Ouch. Actually did pistols. All on one leg but got them.
Big improvement over last time. :27 seconds longer but Deadlifts were 205, one ab mat and air squats for pistols.
Loung fly – 14:29 RX. very happy that 155 on DL is becoming “comfortable” in volume wods, long time coming.

“Lounge fly” 14:14 125# DL, 25 DU’s, strict HSPU 1 abmat. Happy with that. 1:16 faster then last time 10# heavier (would’ve gone heavier but hands are torn apart) and DU’s! Got 2 strict HSPU without an abmat after class. #progress

lounge fly- 14:50 all RX except for HSPU – 1 ab mat & 10# plate strict. Big improvement on T2b. Strug first set of 10, which def is a pr. Went to sets of 5&3 after that. Love chippers – DL were surprisingly awful

13:28. Rx. TTB really killed me. Need to build up volume on those. Was sets of 3 on strict HSPUs. Then 2 mins after Wod I did a set of 8. So it’s definitely a mental hurdle I need to figure out.
Jerk complex – 195#
17:55 with single unders, 85# (went light because back was hurting a bit), 2 abmats for HSPU (really fought for those…normally need 3 or 2 plus plate), assisted pistols. Was glad I stuck with the TTB and got all 40 — at first I thought I’d only do 20 because I did them almost strict (little pull-back on my feet at the bottom) because my hands are a mess and I didn’t want to tear them. I didn’t, so I guess I made the right choice…and got some good core work done in the process!
Lounge Fly- 13:33 (25 DU Attempts, 40 abmat sit-ups, 145#DL)
Did 3.5 miles in 29min with no rest in between. Feels good to start running distance again!
Lounge Fly: 15:13?, 120#DL, 25DU attempts (got about 15 out of 25!), knee ups, push ups, squats.

Hit 225# on the complex, cleaning it rather than using a rack. Could’ve gone higher but it didnt feel right, elbows felt weird.
15:20 – 185# DL, DUAt, 1 ab mat strict hspu, air squats
Lounge Fly — 15:31 (I think). 105# deadlift, 25 DUA (I hit about 20 of them — got 5 in a row toward the end), Combination of TTB/KU (my hands were a mess even with tape and gloves), HSPU with 2 abmats, assisted pistols.

12:32 (I think) Rx weight, dubs, & TTB. 2 abmats for HSPU’s. Still having trouble getting at/below parallel for those. And, I held the bar for pistols.
