Daybreak is announcing its Thanksgiving Week schedule and WODs.
Thanksgiving Week Schedule:
Mon: Regular Schedule
Tue: Regular Schedule
Wed: Regular Schedule EXCEPT no 6:30p, no specialty, no teens, but teens may join the 5:30p class
Thu (T-Day): Only one class at 8:00a (see below)
Friday: 8:00a-11:00a Open Gym (we will post a WOD you can do during open gym)
Saturday: Regular Schedule
Thanksgiving Day WOD(s):
8:00a: Warm-up
8:20a: 5K begins
9:00a (optional): Beer/seltzer mile begins (details below)
5K (3.1m) Course:
We’ve mapped an out and back course from Daybreak CrossFit to Rte 27. The 5K starts at Daybreak’s 200m turnaround. Run across Minuteman Dr. into and through the Candela parking lot. Stay on the north (ie right) side of Rte 20 and run along sidewalks and parking lots until you get to BMW Dealership, where you’ll make a right onto River Rd. Stay to the left side of the road as you make your way up to Water Row where you’ll bear left at the fork. Turn around at Rte 27 and make your way back along the course to Daybreak’s official 400m finish line in front of our entrance. If you’re not comfortable on the back roads, we will have athletes run the 400m course.
Beer/Seltzer Mile
This post-5K cash out is optional. If you don’t know what a beer (or seltzer) mile is… see below or click HERE for rules and regulations. We’ll be using Daybreak’s normal 400m course for each lap of the mile and each athlete will bring 4 cans of their own 12 oz carbonated beverage. Must be 21 and have a DD to participate in the adult version of this WOD.
