U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Aaron N. Holleyman, 27, of Glasgow, Montana, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group, based in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, was killed on August 30, 2004, when his military vehicle hit an improvised explosive device in Khutayiah, Iraq. He is survived by his daughters Shelby and Erin, son Zachary, parents Ross and Glenda, and siblings Kelly and Daniel.

Holleyman: 34:41 with 105# cleans, 6# WB (to 10′, sometimes to 9′, sometimes to the ceiling) and 2 abmats (strict HSPUs). The super light WB helped me to just move this morning. Another shout out to the 5:30am crew…I never knew a class so early could have that much great energy!
P.S. Melissa, we are seriously going to miss you and Nic very much. Excited for your new venture, though! Don’t be a stranger.

Time for a rest day. Oof.
Warmed up cleans fast. Got to 215# and hit it. Decided to try WOD @ 205#. Made it thru 6 rounds @ 205# before my back wasn’t having it. Dropped to 165# power cleans for the rest of the WOD.

Holley-sweat-man – 25 rds at cap, 120#, rest Rx. Even though my form is a work in progress, the fact that I power cleaned every single one of those is HUGE! Last time I hang cleaned 115 and finished mid-31 minutes. Later classes bring a towel, sweaty mess today 🙂

That was a hot mess.
Tried 6 rounds of 20″ step-ups, 10 second handstand holds, and a 135# back squat but then I pulled something in my quad so I switched to 65# strict press for the back squat, and then my neck got really tight so after round 15 I bailed and did 4x400m repeats with a100m recovery walk.
Going to miss you both, Melissa and Nic! See you in a couple of weeks.
