Way up from the Open last year. Not having the tape line definitely helped, but I tried to point my toes down on each rep, simulating the tape range of motion standard.
Cleans were way better and way faster.
70 – bench HSPU, 65#
62 Rx. 18 rep improvement from the Open. Not bad for day one after two weeks of lazy eating.
63 – bench HSPU on toes, 85# (singles)

Run on treadmill – 20 min – 2 min warm up – :30 sec on :30 sec off – increasing by .2 mph each time up to 6:30pace.

Didn’t go to the floor on HSPU bc I thought my shoulders would burn out too fast but I probably should have. Followed Sarah’s suggestion to go light on the cleans to work on my form pulling from the floor. I think a lightbulb finally went off about what I’ve been doing wrong but I need more practice.
