Our Parking Lot Throwdown was such a hit — your survey responses confirmed! — that we are going to host another internal competition and social for members only. It’s time to save the date and sign-up.  For those of you new to Daybreak, here’s how it works:

THE DETAILS

The Daybreak staff will select teams of 3 that will be relatively even so you don’t have to worry about arranging one on your own. There will be 3 or 4 workouts that will be accessible to ALL of our members of ALL abilities. DO NOT WORRY if you’re new to CrossFit! You’ll be able to compete with your team. If you’re still a bit apprehensive, talk to us! We’ll fill you in on the how it all works. You can always find this post later under our EVENTS TAB located in the main menu in “About Us”.

COST: Always FREE to members
ATHLETE CHECK-IN: 2:00p
COMPETITION STARTS:  2:30p
SOCIAL STARTS:  5:00p

WHERE: Daybreak CrossFit — we will likely have a combination of inside and outside WODs
WHO: Daybreak CrossFit Members Only (punch-cards included), but friends and families can come cheer you on and then join us for the social afterwards.
BRING: A beverage, dish for the BBQ and a chair in which to lounge, chill and relax.

HOW TO SIGN UP

This year we are going to have everyone sign up here, under this post.  To do this, you must follow these steps:

IF YOU DO HAVE A USERNAME & PASSWORD:

1) Simply click HERE to sign in, or click on the “Log In” icon to the upper right!
2) Scroll down to comments
3) Tell us you’re in and what food and/or drink you’re bringing

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A USERNAME & PASSWORD:

1) Click HERE to register, or click on the “Log In” icon in the upper right (then click register)
2) Enter a user name and email
3) You will be emailed a password and a link to sign in. Check your spam folder!
4) Click the link, enter your username and new password
5) Scroll down to comments and tell us you’re in and what food and/or drink you’re bringing

Use Your New Account to Track Your WODs!

Once you have your username and password, you can use the comments section on each of our daily WODs to record your score. Not only do we use the way we feel, the way we look, our measurements, etc. to track our progress toward our fitness goals, but we also use our WOD performances. By recording your WOD score each day, you now have a searchable, digital journal that we'll link to when we repeat a WOD. You will be able to easily look back and see how you modified the WOD, your rep scheme, your weights, etc. And it's also a great way to stay in touch with Daybreakers who may not be in your class that day.
