scaled down to 6 PU attempts, feel like I got most of them though… Kipping is starting to feel great.
Also not sure why I decided to keep up with Justin on the first 400m, gassed me for the night… can’t split up the Ustins I guess!

10:27 – Jumping PU’s. Thanks to jim for giving me a good pace to keep on the run, and thanks to Sara for letting me see perfect form on a kipping PU. Good news is I was able to do my first (and then three more) kipping PU’s right after the workout! I was determined to get it done!

Helen – 10:07 Rx (PR!) My previous Helen times were 13:38 in June 2012 and 2 weeks ago at Southie, it was 10:52.

10:45 – 20#KB, jump pull up since there was no graceful way to get myself into the band. Got a lot of work to do on that upper body strength . . .
Marie did 5 consecutive kipping pull ups at the 9:30 class! Congrats Marie

All KB sets unbroken…smooth and steady. PUs were tough but HUGE thanks to Mel for coaching me through them as I did singles at the end.
Oh geez, just checked and this is :25 off my previous Helen time. Oh well…PUs are taking a while to come back.
