12:33rx – my first time getting this one as prescribed. The first day I walked into a CrossFit box 4.5 years ago, I saw someone doing handstand push-ups and I said: I want to be able to do those! Well, I figured them out but volume was always my huge challenge. And then I hurt my shoulder. And then I messed up my hamstring. But since being at Daybreak, those things have all slowly started to get better. And today I achieved a 4.5-year-long quest to do this WOD as prescribed. I’M SO EXCITED!! Plus I got 3 points today for my nut challenge. 😉
Diane: 3:20 rx (and a :20 PR) – I was running scared from Kate the whole time. Thanks for the push, chica.
Nuts: 2.5 points – I kinda zoned sort of a bit maybe.
2 points, ate the right stuff but not in the right block amounts, I missed something at breakfast so I had it for lunch (so extra blocks at lunch).
Diane 8:52 @205#, probably could have done Rx if hands were in better shape, lol.
Diane: 10:22. 21-15-9 DL @ 115# and 9-6-3 kipping HSPUs with one abmat. Inching closer to Rx’ing this…some day! Could have lifted heavier but I have a cold and feel junky and also wanted to save some strength for the HSPUs.
185# 10:08 dead lift was easy handstand push-ups killing me but getting better thanks justin and Kate for the extra help on hand placement and cheering me on

Forgot to look at the clock when I finished. Deadlifts at 155 must have been poor on form becuase my back hurts a bit. Lower weight next time and better form.

10:14 – 185#, 15-12-9 hspu. The push-ups were slow and ugly. I could have gone heavier on the deadlift.
