Diane: 6:46 (105#, 3 anmb mat + 10# plate) All deads straight sets. HSPU- 7, 4, 4, 4, 2; 7, 7, 1; 7, 2
First time doing an inverted dip motion in a WOD! Even if it was only .5-1inch 😉 #progress!!!
5:52 rx. what i thought might have been a pr wasnt, looking back im actually 1:30 shy of my pr. back in march i was able to go unbroken on all the deadlifts and only break once during all the hspu. my back cramped on me during the round of 15 and my hspu died early. two disappointing days in a row for me, but im still pr’ing in positivity.
“Diane” – 7:36 Rx – And I’ll take it. Last time we did this I scaled to 185# for some reason, and it took me 11:10 to finish. first 21 HSPUs strict. then to kipping for the 15 and 9. Good guidance from Erica to STOP resting by balancing, no-handed, on my head… I’ll feel that for a few hours (days).
Diane – 7:22 RX, hspu are usually something I can do unbroken with a kip…not today.
Also, I know there is a food challenge underway, but I HAVE TO PLUG MICHELE BARBONE and her crazy mad baking skills!!! Holy god, she made me a Boston cream cake for my husbands birthday that 1)looked like it should be in a magazine and 2) WAS FRICKIN AMAZING!!! USE HER FOR ALL YOUR NON-PALEO CONFECTIONS, YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY!!
“Dianne” 13:51 Rx. Pretty slow on the HSPU, definitely need to work on my form, some felt easier late than they did early in the WOD. I don’t think yesterday’s clean complex helped either.
No previous time to compare to, on vacation last time we did Dianne. I’ll build off this PR…:
Well off my PR of 5:53, but given how my shoulder has felt the last 2 weeks and what I put it thru yesterday, I’ll take it. Still need to work onto holding onto the bar for the deadlifts.
Diane: 7:38-65#
HSPU with 3 ab mats. Could have easily done more weight. I think I need to keep a list of what I have done so I can make sure I keep challenging myself. HSPU were so much better than the last time with 4 mats. I’m surprised at how much my range of motion increased. Wraps helped a lot.
Diane- 8:04 125# (super sore legs and my grip was gone)12,9,6 (attempts) WITH NO ABMATS!
my last diane score was 9:21, I used 135# and 1 abmat, I’ll take it!
diane – 12:30 155# and 1 ab mat & 10# plate. Didn’t have much steam today, not too sure why. Pretty sore from MU attempts yesterday perhaps that’s it. HSPU have continued to be a struggle post pregnancy. Did about 1/2 strict and 1/2 kip. Def need some work
16:00 rx. Not a typo; it took me that long.
First time rx. Thanks Kate for the coaching and patience to let me finish and for the support from Sarah and Tatiana.
Diane — 5:14. 85#, 2 abmats. I moved through it quickly but used really, really light weight because I felt so sluggish yesterday. I now know that I need to go quite a bit heavier on deadlifts, which I haven’t done that much of.
