Hell yeah!
20:35 @185#
20:53 155#
20:02 115# Mel your row game plan was SO huge today!!!
Drop in at CF Reaction in Greenville, SC this morning. Good crew but cannot wait to be back at DCF tomorrow.
Touch and Go Power Cleans (5-5-5)
5 x 155
5 x 165
5 x 175
AMRAP 13
75 cal row
50 wall balls (30#)
25 chest to bar pull-ups
Made it thru once and back to the rower for 17 additional calories. They used 30# slam balls as wall balls. Definitely a varied movement I had to adapt to, but it was fun.
19:14 @ 185# – cleans felt great, even toward the end. Feels good to be getting stronger!
yes!! nice work!!
Thanks Kate!
19:03 – 135#, clean starting to feel good, time to start adding some weight.
13:18 with a couple variations on this one for me today — 2K row, 20″ boxjumps for pistols and 135# backsquats for hang cleans — modifying for a tweak in my wrist from last night but today I still got fitter 🙂
14:21rx
Last time I did this was at the regional in 2012. I had 1 hang clean left at the cap which was 17 minutes. So this is about a 2:41 pr. Felt a huge difference in the row and back then I think 135# was the heaviest hang clean I’d ever done. So fitness. Good programming. Good coaching. It works. #pursuebetter
great job Michele!!! so awesome!
17:38 120#
I really liked this one today! Row felt great the way Mel had us break it up, pistols have come a LONG way ( was able to string 2 sets of 10) and this was my first time ever using 120# in a WOD!! woohoo, I’ll take it!
yes! breaking out of that comfort zone.
21:58 with assisted pistols and 100# cleans. Got my first ever “real” pistols pre WOD. Three years in and I’m still learning and making forward progress. Great coaching today by Michele and thanks to Mel for an awesome row plan.
Congrats on the pistols!!!
subbed 50×70# goblet squats for the pistols.
cleans @225# were tough. sets of 3 the whole way.
23:28
21:03 155# cleans and 10# plate assisted pistols. thats more real pistols than i have ever done by a multiple of 5x (there were a few fails in there). need to work on my cleans. oh and I am still super sore from yesterday.
19:02 105# (20 reps), thanks Mel for all your coaching on the cleans and the rowing! it really helped a lot!
17:13, 95#, AS for pistols, next time 105#!
Awesome on your cleans Kevin!
17:45 (185#). Not a fun one to do solo but good to just move. Smooth and steady today.
18:51 with 115#
14:29, 60# and should have gone a bit heavier, squats for pistols
55# Cleans (20), Goblets with 18# KB. Finished in just over 20 minutes.
8:17.4 2k (2:00/~2:08) 24s/m
Subbed
50 walking lunges (15# ea hand)
30 RKBS 35#
All 80 reps straight.
I’m loving all the endurance work! So happy I can row! MRI tomorrow…
Good luck AK with the MRI tomorrow, I’ll be thinking go you!
17:24 100#
15:17 60# definitely could have gone heavier. Subbed AS for pistols
17:45 45# cleans, did 18# goblet squats for the pistols
You know that Joni Mitchell song – the words “you don’t know what you got till it’s gone” – well I am happy to be back and grateful that my meeting with the ice dam wasn’t more serious!! Thanks for the modifications Kate: 12:34 8 min aerodyne (54 cal), 30 1 legged RR, 45# BP
17:54 85# pole pistols
17:57 55# cleans – they felt good, more weight next time. Sooo happy to have actually done pistols!!! Loved the row set up
14:29 #165
15:39 165# and Box jumps for pistols.
that 165 felt way too heavy wtf.
16:17 #115. Cleans felt good even after a two week hiatus from Daybreak. Probably coild have gone heavier. Pistols were solid too. Good workout.
17:23 85# lots of trouble with my grip tonight!
