Rough is not a powerful enough adjective. I struggled from rep #7 on. I admit to using the burpees as an opportunity to lay down on the floor and cry – at least it kept me from redlining. By the time I was through with the first round I was sure Rap, Pat and Dusty had lapped me. I felt shame for a nanosecond but the pain trumped all else. It’s all good though because I was in the moment – I can honestly say not another thought crossed my mind other than a desire for it to end. It did, finally, although not until the next class had already started warming up. Anyway, namaste.
