125#
125# – Happy with that.
105# – I have a tough time with this movement but I’m baby stepping. for the reps that my form was dialed in I felt like I could have gone a good bit heavier…and then there were the bad reps.
135#. Got from the hang last 3 rounds. Failed from the ground on 2, but got it last round.
Snatch Complex: 45# The last time we did this WOD was back in February, I was still VERY new. The highest weight then was 20# Seven months have come and gone.. As I said in February ” can’t wait to add more weight” And, I’ll say it again/ with a CrossFit tone- MORE muscle more weight…… HELL YA.
Take two…. Went back for the 12:30pm and was able to get to 55# Need to work on the starfish feet..
Nice. Going back for rd 2. Badass.
🙂 Had too…. Hard move!!
Wow! Nice job Sherry!
40# technique will mean everything on this move
Snatch Complex: 130# (hit 135# for the hang snatch but lost it behind on the full snatch)
Reps went 85/95/100/105/110/115/120 (fail)/120/125/130 (fail)/130/135(fail)
Im pretty sure this is a pr of some sort.
Snatch Complex: 105# Squat was very questionable.
Not supposed to be squatting. Worked up to 165 as a 2rm hps, then did 135 in the last round Rx. Felt good to do it once. So wanted to do the whole thing
Snatch complex- 75#. This movement continues to haunt me and today I just had nothing in tank. Hit 75# once and then Failed the press out 2x. Dropped back down in weight and just finished the movements.
Snatch Complex- 70#
130#. Pleased with this, previous best squat snatch was 95# in June.
65#- I am really struggling with overhead flexibility. Need to do something about it.
Snatch Complex- 65#
Than ran three miles with a minute rest between.
Snatch Complex: 50# First time doing the squat snatch…kinda had some fear around this one but overcame that somewhat with Kate’s help and repetition. Thanks Kate, Dustin and Tatiana for the encouragement. + 1600 m run & 50 burpees (Monday’s infraction – great party, well worth the work!)
65, 75, 85, 95, 100 (ugly), 100, (failed 2nd lift) 100, 105f, 105f, 85, 85, 85.
Happy to be lifting, lots of room for improvement.
Cash out of 50 pull-ups, not for time. My kip has returned after quite a hiatus! Got this almost entirely in sets of 5. Very happy.
185lbs.
