“Earthquakey” – what a great WOD. 115# and did 5/8/15 using 2 ab mats for the hand stand push-ups. The last HSPU of the last set was really the last one my shoulders had in them.

completed rx, all straight sets. broke down to kipping hspu halfway through round 6, and kipped in rounds 7 and 8.
Nice work! I wanted to come in and do this w/ you guys at 5:30 this morning but Keegan literally screamed from 11:14 last night until about 3 AM. Couldn’t get up.
Anyone coming in for barbell club tonight? I’m going to do 5:30 class and then lift after.

Wonderful question. Push everything back 2 rounds. Changes started in 4, not 6. I definitely didn’t do a 9 and a 10. But I did black out, so that’s where the first post comes from.

The last time we did this, it felt so hard. I did 85# for the sq clean, so happy with increase in weights, happy I was able to do PC, form has a lot of room for improvement. This was a fun one!

Earthquakey- 155# w/ three abamats. Still can’t keep the depth in WO’s with shoulder. Going to try some side work with shoulder to get it stronger so I can do these.

Well. That wasn’t how it was suppose to go. Felt great the first 3 rounds. Back seized up during round 4 of hspu. Had to shut it down during round 5.

Went in during open gym and knew I couldn’t hold onto 185# TNG cleans. Rounds 1 – 6 unbroken on the HSPU and box jumps. Round 7 & 8 I came off the wall once on each set of HSPU’s.
Good job on those cleans.
Earthquakey – 60#, 10# barbell press, 12 box jumps with 45# plate. Last time I did this I had to use 25# and 45# plate so that’s progress! However, I also wrote that I had done the squat press back in November with 55# which I think must be a typo… can’t imagine I was able to lift that back then… still, I’m happy with 60# today.

Rx’ed – total grinder. All singles on the cleans. Had to break up the HSPUs early.
Barbell Club was gnarly…..Clean pulls at 245, Hit the first complex at 160 and went through the complex twice (6 reps) at 175. Really happy with my speed under the bar, Pretty sure that’s somehow a PR for like a 6rm or complex of some sort. My 1rm is 220, very excited to keep making strength gains and put some size on for next years opens!
“Earthquakey”: 135# complete on all cleans. HSPU complete sets but increased ab mats. First round to ground next 2 rounds 1 ab mat, remaining rounds 2 ab mats.
Earthquakey – 115#, 1 Ab mat & 10# plate, 20in Box Jumps. Finished at 24:40 – struggled with HSPU on the last round but happy I made it through.
Barbell club: 25# clean pulls 5×5, 25# 3-position cleans 2×3 and 4×3, 25# strict press 5×3. I’m sensing a theme here…

So happy to be back 🙂 did this one RX — all cleans UB, HSPU with hands on 15# DB (5strict+5kipping) – fun and challenging WOD! oo and did I mention how nice it is to be back!
“Earthquakey” – 3x @175#, 2 ab mat strict HSPU. my 1RM clean is 195# – these were plenty heavy but some felt good. need to continue to work on getting my elbows through quickly. i get the bar plenty high. HSPUs felt good. probably too good. time to graduate to 1 abmat. such a day dependent exercise for me.
Barbell club: worked up to 225# on the clean pulls and 115# on the position cleans. push jerks at 135 and 155#.
