Isabel: 2:30 35# I agree with Willis- room for improvement! I need to work on form to add more weight, I should’ve been able to do at least 55# UGH… My left/bad knee wasn’t working with me today-killed it on wall ball yesterday.
“Isabel” 5:43 Rx
I was stuck on reps 28-30 for a while. I had 5 or 6 fails at that point. I think I heard Mel call out 4:01 as I was getting rep 27. Glad to get a time in the books.
“Isabel” 5:50 [115#]
Started with a set of 5 then 3 then fast singles. Hands got very slippery the last 15 reps – lots of time wasted on chalk. Form getting better. Cash out 6:40 with Pat.
First time going for Rx for me. I think I’ve done this in the past but I’m not 100% sure. Anyway, I’m extremely happy w/ today. When I started at DCF in November of last year, I couldn’t snatch 115# consistently.
“Isabel” – 4:30 Rx (Didn’t fail any, although 22 – 30 were getting ugly).
Isabel- 6:43 85# – I feel like it’s been a long time since I have done snatches. Wanted to try rx but I am glad I stuck with 85#. Did singles and form certainly needs some practice. Ones toward the end felt better once I started to drop under the bar instead of “angry starfish ing” it. Next time
Definitely an area that I look forward to improving. 3:25 95#. Focused on form. Jumped up and did some at 115# after. Just need reps. Look forward to improving on this movement. Cash out was good. Definitely quick and painful.
Good to see you posting, Jason! Way to check the ego and work on fundamentals. THAT’S how you’re going to make HUGE gains. All upside from here. Well done, bud.
(1) Four mile walk: about an hour
(2) Isabel: 6:10 @ 65#
(3) “Saucy Sara C” (yes I made this up): 3 rounds, not for time, of 20 KB swings (35#, all sets unbroken), 30 sit ups and 40 air squats.
Did the two WODs at CrossFit Amelia Island (FL), which unbelievably allows drop-ins to open gym 24 hours a day. Someone who doesn’t know what they are doing could seriously hurt them self! Any-hoo, they programmed both Randi AND Christine today (what the what?!), so I opted for open gym to do Isabel like my DCF family plus a bit of my own thang for fun. Miss all y’all, as they say down here.
I don’t think I’ve done this in over 2 years! This. Should. Be. Interesting.
3:40 rx. All singles…around a 2 minute pr.
And a fun cash out that put me on my back staring at the ceiling for about ten minutes…enjoy daybreakers!
3:32 on Feb 7 2016
“Isabel” 4:20 35#
3:53Rx not my best effort. there were some seriously ugly snatches in there. :23 off my pr.
Isabel: 4:20 95#. This is an area for improvement, but I did feel differences in my form following the clinic. Now I need to add weight.
7:48 Rx, first time Rx. Cash out 6:42 with Dave S. Nice work!

Isabel: 4:15, 40#, form fell apart then I started thinking too much, then I just wanted it to be over. Weight was fine tho.

5:25 I think? Rx. Not my best time but good motivations to get back in the bar more to get the technique down post-wods
Isabel- 3:25 55#. Fun workout to come back to, I’m SO HAPPY to be back!!!!
Welcome back, Daniela!
“Isabel”- 2:38rx (1:05pr)

Good lord… who the heck programs Randy and Christine?!? Smart move with the open gym.
Isabel 4:10. 95#
Isabel- 4:40 #50
2:59 with 65# and hang snatches. Can’t wait till I get to do this one prescribed. When the head is better…,
2:28 RX 3 second pr. Put my hand on my knees for a bit while Kate wasnt looking so defintiely room to improve.
2:41 95#

4:18 100# Form is getting much better, now its time to bring the weight up
