195# — tied previous PR– great way to start the week!!
And all of that after I watched you do a workout before the 5:30 AM class with wall balls, hand stand pushups and strict pull ups. Yikes!
Split Jerks: 135# with the fun cash out afterwards. Mel didn’t get a chance to say “you’re welcome” but, “thanks, Mel”.
175# jerk (failed multiple times at 185# and then 180#). loved the cash out – thx Mel.
Split Jerk: 105# attempted 125# then 115# cause 105# was a strong do-able but I quickly found out that it’s form over strength on this one. Couldn’t get my feet under me fast enough. Thanks for the coaching Michele! There’s always next time.

Split Jerk — 95#. 95# didn’t feel particularly tough. But I couldn’t quite get the 105# — too tentative pushing up. Enjoyed rolling the big tire during cash out.

was feeling blah… matched my PR, but got that on a clean & Jerk. wasn’t splitting nearly enough or getting under the bar.
Split jerk: 135# so fun, can’t wait to try again to get the form down better and put up more weight

Put 165 on the bar for set 5, but re-racked it and dropped back to 155. I think I lost an inch of height on that second attempt at 155. Oof.
#205 not too pleased with the split. Next time will be lighter weight for better form.
