10 rounds total, 2 of them rx and the last 8 subbing 15 air squats in for the pistols (knee felt funny after 2nd round). ran the transitions on the last round and hit the last rep with one second on the clock, glad i hit the number of rounds i aimed for.
so many people hittin their pistols and handstands all morning – great job 530am

“Mary” – 5+20 using 1 abmat on a 10# plate (thanks for the idea, Sarah) and red band PU’s. Got pistols today for the first time – woo hoo! The 5:30 AM class was rocking today – great energy.
Mary with some added flare — 7+18 with ctb pullups and 18# kb weighted pistols– first time doing pistols with a kb, I have a pretty good feeling I will be walking with some ‘swag’ tomorrow

“Mary” – 0 (zero). I’m no-repping my pistols. Some were ok, but many were dodgy at best. I got a great workout, a lot of practice at some tougher movements, and feel good overall, coming away from the WOD. But as for score… it’s not what was important today.
LOVE this post. You gave it your all and got “practice at tougher movements”… YES! Green card.
“Mary”- Came out of the gate, guns blazing- BIG MISTAKE- This WOD is a pacer.. 5-30.. I’m going to agree with Willis.. A LOT of NO Reps for this girl.. 15 AS 15 PU round one, 10 other rounds.. HS- hold attempts (MEL.. I need my Cheese wedge)
I’m closing this weeks WOD’s on a high.. The first round of PU’s I was able to string 3-THREE PU’s TOGETHER! Hell Ya.

Mary 5+3 (held 10 lb. plate for balance with pistols) Legs were pretty sore today, pistols took too long and were ugly at best…
“Mary” 6+21 DB 15#(for HS), rig assisted pistols(first time I felt like I was really doing them!) bl band PUs,( had many singles after round 2 and some were definitely no rep near the end!)

“Mary” I loved this WOD! 6+ 27 1abmat for HSPU everything else RX. Next time I’m losing the abmat!
Mary: 6 + 28 (10 35# Russian swings for HSPU, rounds 1-4 pole assisted pistols, then 15 air squats for later rounds (knee felt funny), 8 strict blue band pull ups – those were a battle)
Andrew’s Mary: 7 + 8 (35# dumb bell push press for HSPU, rest RX)
7+5 RX. Nice little noon throwdown with Cash! Got my first RX strict hspus today! Awesome feeling being able to do these in the wod. Thanks for the coaching cues Mel!
Hmmm Mary….she’s not nice! I got a sick workout and a lot practice. ALMOST got a kick up handstand! (after falling on my head) A hit a new Crossfit milestone (tossed my cookies) but at least I made it home for that! Spared you all who were there. 🙂 Thanks for the encouragement,& tips Cash, Andrew and of course Mel!

Mary: 10 rounds (1 ab mat, air squats, rx on pullups)
Mary 7 rds + thru 13 pu. Did a total of 10 strict hspu during the wod. I am so excited about this!! First time ever in a wod without my binky, aka the abd mat! Then used a 10lb plate (did on average 3-4 total hspu/round). I no repped 3 pistols, and at least 3 hspu then my last pu was a no rep.
Thank you kate and Mel for the encouragent, I prob wouldn’t have tried this otherwise!
