18:04 rx. i had 2 failed reps in the first round of muscle ups, 3 failed reps on the last rep of the 2nd round, and about 25 failed reps on the final rep of the last round. finally hit it though. in hindsight, im not sure that a weekend full of more dominos pizza, cinnamon sticks, doughnut cake, oreos and cookie dough then i’d like to admit to eating is a good fuel for such a workout. i might try out this nutrition thing… my cookie diet may finally be failing me.
It was really amazing to see the strong guys, like you, Jason, pound at those MU’s and to see how dogged you were to get that last one done despite one near miss after another. Really inspirational, especially after I had just finished my much reduced version of this WOD.
that effort was more impressive than if you would have cruised through it in 8 minutes
perseverance through adversity was your win for today — very proud of you for sticking with it and getting it done 🙂

I did 3 Banded MU per round. The hardest part of the WOD for me was getting in the band…… and climbing on the 30 inch box after the air squats. Last round I failed a MU and gave up too easily in hindsight…I did 15 pushups to mod for it….I should have just taken a second and did it again. Was not thinking so well…..

Nasty Girls -16:24 95# and 5 banded MU attempts. First round I got 2 assisted MU and then couldn’t get another. Progress, last week I could only get one…just got to keep practicing.
Side note- congrats to both my hubs and Michele on today’s WOD. Knowing how far you both have come and watching you both crush those MU today was awesome. So proud of you both!! I can’t wait until I can do them with you! Xoxo
