12:20 225# / strict HSPU to a 5# plate. pure struggle on the HSPU – i no-repped at least two (head did not touch plate). on the positive side, the deadlifts felt great (21, 11/4, 9).
Note for me: did this Rx last time but i am pushing to get strict HSPU to the floor.
12:14 with 12/9/6 HSPU to 1 abmat. This WOD is such a love-hate for me. It tells me so much about where I’m at though. And I’m at a place where I think I need to start working some shoulder strength. Well off my PR of 13:33 rx.

6:49, 125# felt great, hspu w/3ab mats and off Dumbbells(wrist). Haven’t done this since July 2013, 85# then and inclined pushups off a box.

12:10 115# 2 abmats- scaled back the deadlifts so I could focus on HSPUs. First time moving down to 2 abmats in a workout. They weren’t all perfect but my head touched on most of them. Getting back up was a struggle and not completely successful on all. This was still a huge mental barrier to break!
