We are partnering with Scott’s brother Steve, and his brother’s foundation to host the new “Milley” Hero WOD where ALL donations will benefit the 1LT. Scott Milley Memorial Fund. I was “in and out” about doing this wod or going home from the drive down in the rain through mid way 2nd round. Glad I stuck it out. Nice work 8:00.

2+10 65#/RedBluBand KPU (30/round) – my goal for today was to think about form for each movement: PU – learn the feel of stringing KPUs together – got to 5, avg 3; squat cleans – tried to open hips and get under fast to the squat – did a lot of muscle cleans to the squat but definitely had some hip opening squats – really could feel the difference when my body worked together and not just my arms (thanks Michele for the pointers); running – breath control, being upright w/relaxed arms moving forward, smaller steps so I could land in the middle of my foot and not the heel – mission accomplished – no achilles pain
