Open WOD 13.4 – 68 Rx
I scored 70 reps on this during the open. Thinking about this now, I was more efficient on this WOD, but spent more time walking between the bar and the rig. If we do this again, i want mid 70’s to 80.
43 Rx. I did this wod last month in Phoenix and came in at 44 with the c&j scaled at 115#, so I’ll take this as progress. Also, first time stringing together more than one kipping t2b at a time.
HUGE improvements Chris!
62 reps at 75#. The 75 is a step up from the last time I did any clean & jerk but I need to scale it up to really get to the right number. I am thinking I’m going to 85 or maybe even 95# next time. First time doing toes to bar and my form needs a lot of work. Mel is amazing (just saying :-)).
Open WOD 13.4 – 44 Rx. Kipping t2b did not come until after the workout – would have helped.
61 reps Rx. Need to work on controlling my t2b, ate up some of my time trying to eliminate the swinging…
13:4: 39 reps @75#. During the Open last year, did this Rx (95#) and only got 20 reps. I think this is progress?
Cashed out with trying to see if I could still clean 95#…yep. Got 110# power clean before failing at the same weight on a squat clean.

76 rx. Did 88 rx at the Opens last year. A bit bummed, but I got stronger today. Will kill this next time it comes up.
On a positive note, Dustin lit up the 6:30p tonight. First T2B, first handstand, first HSPU, AND goes RX in the WOD. Nice job today.
Thanks buddy, wouldn’t be here without you guys! Huge thanks to the “other” Ustin for coaching me through the handstand. He also got me to do a couple butterfly pull-ups, should have those this month if I keep it up too.
