Interesting morning for me. Weigh in showed I’m actually up 3 lbs, yet I lost inches in my waist, leg and neck. I’m wondering if it was all the sodium in the Paleo Power Meals we ate last night because Sara said her weight had changed as well. We both ate the same thing. Either way, I’ll take the inches.
Clean – Worked up to 210#. Couldn’t get under 215#, which is my previous 1RM.
Jackie – 6:53 Rx ( 0:02 second PR).
The row (3:28) was about :03 faster than last time and the thrusters were a straight set, but I did rest for a second at the top of 1 of the thrusters. Pull ups may have been a hair faster, if not the same. I think I got to the pull ups at about 5:45 – 5:55 and did a set of 5, then 2, then fast singles. Clearly need to work on these when I’m tired.
Similar results to Bill this morning. No weight loss but inches of the waist and some in neck. Legs no change. Hopefully that means they are getting marathon stong and are gaining muscle. Overall considering I fell off the zone wagon a git I am happy with results.
1 Rep Max Clean was 165# today 175#
Jackie: Was 9:51 Rx today 8:50Rx.
Looked at the posting a month ago and the goal was 175# and sub 9:00. Achieved.
One February goal left of 50 consecutive Double Unders. At 36 max. If I increase by one a day I have it.
Clean 80# (same as pre-nut challenge benchmark) – I seem to loose my form at that weight . . .
Jackie 10:51 (35#, red/blue banded pull up) – this is about 15 seconds slower than last time, but I did jumping pull ups then so think that is improvement.
As far as final measurements, everything is down so that is cool, just have to admit that I am disappointed in the scale number as no matter what everyone says to me, the number still matters!! At the same time, if I look at it more objectively, there were many more 2-3point days the 1st 2 weeks and more 1-2 days the 2nd 2 weeks (and a 0 day or two) and I think that pretty much explains it! Great job 6am – I have to start getting myself out of bed and getting back in at that time – really starts the day off right!
So apparently I never posted a time for Jackie last time?? Not sure why. BUT I do know that last time I did Jackie, I couldn’t do pull ups.
But today I finished 7:58 RX!!!
10lb PR on my clean! tried multiple attempts at 15 and I just couldn’t get it.
110# 1 Rep Max
Jackie- Clean/One Rep 65# 6:56RX FS/Box assisted Pull Ups.. In the next month or two – I’m going to
achieve one darn pull up if it kills me!!! This is week four at DayBreak, I’m feeling stronger and stronger, form is coming along but most of all I’m feeling the LOVE from the all trainers and crew.. Totally stoked to see what the next month brings. As for the “Nut” I’ve been eating clean for a while but NOW adding Crossfit to the mix, I understand why nutrition and fitness walk hand and hand. The number on the scale still matters, for the girls that is! I just think we’re wired that way.. One thing I’ve learned after 40- TRAIN HARD because if you DON’T someone else is….
Awesome WOD with the 6am crew this morning! Clean: 115# … didn’t feel great, I think I need to eat before lifting in the am. Jackie: 11:04 Rx. Row and thrusters were fine but the pull-ups were SLOW.
Clean 215#
Jackie: 10:38, didn’t put the bar down during the thrusters but way too many pauses. Pushed myself a little more on the row and lost some of the legs….
Clean: 115# pounds. #5 PR overall and 10# PR from the beginning of the nutrition challenge.
Jackie: 12:44 RX. A good improvement from my previous 16:37 at the beginning of the challenge, but that score was because I had freaked out and took a break between the thrusters and the pull-ups. Having said this, I had done Jackie RX twice before Daybreak and my times were both in the 14 minute range, so this is a decent improvement.
195# clean, 5 # PR… Got under 200 just fine but back didn’t feel right so I bailed.
Jackie – 9:24 rx. Another pr huge improvement from 10:52 last time.
Way behind on posting my nut challenge I’m sorry… No idea the last time I posted
5:39 RX 6 second PR from the last time I ran it here. I think that is actually a life time PR too. It must have been the zone challenge. So many blocks.

Sharon- I’m with you, the 6am class is the best! Getting up is the hardest part.. As for the scale- We’re girls it’s just the way we’re wired.. 🙂

Rough shoulder day yesterday so resting before Jackie. Instead AMRAP 15 of 4 sled pushes and 20 medball cleans (14#) – 4 + sleds + 2 medball cleans.
Some definite improvement…
Previous: clean 95#, Jackie 9:15 – 15#, 30 thrusters, 15 jpu
Today: clean 120#, Jackie 11:43 – 35#, 50 thrusters, 30 jpu (thanks for the vote of confidence on the rx reps, Kate)

Nice work tonight dude! Awesome to watch you grind out those thrusters and pull-ups!!
195# clean (10# pr)
9:05 Jackie. Also a PR but only by 5 seconds. I sucked on the thrusters. Need to work on that.
5:39 RX 6 second PR from the last time I ran it here. I think that is actually a life time PR too. It must have been the zone challenge. So many blocks.
5:39 is amazing…nice work, Justin. Keep eating those salty breakfasts.
