“The Chief” – 21 rounds with 95# and sit-ups instead of pushups to continue resting an injured shoulder. I had more weight in me for the power cleans even with the 63 reps. Great class today, as always.
The Chief: 20 Rounds at 125#. Bummed to discover as I was taking the weights off the bar I did not have 135# on the bar. Look forward to seeing The Chief again Rx for the same or more rounds.
“The Chief” (was not my friend today)
14 Rounds 85#. Started with 95# but had to drop down….. Next time I’ll pass on the Mai Tai’s the night before!
Today was a wash. Have to be mentally tougher.
Chief is a mental struggle. You pushed. Plus I thought I was watching a Games competitor with that shirt
The Chief: 15 70# (1x knee PU) + 1000 m row, 600 m run pre-WOD for extra warm-up…seems to be helping with endurance thru the WOD – yeah
Lourdes, nice work. It’s cool to see you making gains
Thank you Tony! I am really enjoying this CrossFit thing and I totally appreciate the shout out! Very cool!
Yes! Expanding ur lungs before the WOD is the way to go! Great job! It helps me too.
Chief-20rds RX (5,4,4,3,4) This is a WOD, be proud that you did it and happy with what you did no matter the numbers. Lots of, would of, could of, should of in the posts lately. WOD the fuck up, support each other.
Word!!!
24 rounds. I didn’t hold strong in rd 4. Need to get that 5th rd and need to get 6 in round 5. Was great being surrounded by people pushing. Justin, Willis, Manchester and Nissa. Ever direction I turned the pace was moving.
And you definitely PRd that death stare 🙂
Such an awesome morning in both the 8&9 .. Super tough wod and everyone hit it head on.. Awesome energy! 31rx which is a 1 round PR! Focus for me today was taking the bar right back to the ground and I managed keep that pattern all 5 rounds.. Pumped! Thanks to the guys for the push at the start and finish
Awesome work. Can’t wrap my head around how you move that fast. So awesome.
27 (115#). Back feeling much better. Listening to Mel on scaling… staying the course…
that Mel chick seems to know her sh..stuff 🙂 glad you are feeling better!
The Chief: 10 rounds Rx. My first Rx Chief! I’m gonna take Tony D’s advice and not say oh, this number sucks, I’ll do more next time, etc. I’m proud of being able to throw that much weight up that many times and to hit my goal of getting two solid rounds during each 3-minute amrap.
Awesome work, Sara! That was a tough one!
The chief – 19 rd RX. My first go at this, so had no plan coming in. Shout out to coach kate to keep me moving!! Great work everyone, STRONG PEEPS AT DAYBREAK!!
Heck of a job, Erica! You’re one of those strong peeps!!!
I LOOOOVE the CHIEF!!!…. I’m doing this tomorrow with my cousin and will post tomorrow….. looks like you guys killed it.
Ran a 10k today this morning on the carriage roads around Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park. It was crazy hilly and beautiful!
Sounded like an awesome run!
not sure how this was scored. I’ve always done it as total reps.
Did 360 Rx today, which is huge pr for me.
5, 4+1, 3+10, 4, 3+7… if we are only counting completed rounds, I got 19. did people pick up where they left off? not sure how it was done…. it was definitely weird where I did this! lots of seniors walking around looking at me like I was crazed.
“The Chief”- 24 rounds w/95# (6,5,4,4,5)
3 round pr from last time. Had some iffy push ups in there on round 3 but overall pretty solid movement. Broke the push ups into 3 sets of 2 on the last 2 rounds to make sure I wasn’t worming. I can see a huge difference in my push ups from December to now. Huge goat of mine so I’m happy to see the progress.
15 rnds 65#, ABSU and KPU. .. Stayed consistent easy round
“The Chief” – 21 Rx. Last time we did this, I went 21 rounds at 95#. So happy with the 40# improvement.
