Helen – 9:27 Rx (:40 PR)
Bill F. helped keep the pace real strong on the first 400m. I tried to push the runs more than last time. KB snatches and pulling the bell down definitely helped w the speed. Had a little confusion over the 400 route and where to turn, but I think we got it sorted out.

Helen – 9:28 (had to replace the run with 9 cal on the aerodyne due to Achilles issue). not an apples:apples comparison but this was three minutes faster than in November.

Helen- 13:45 26 lb. and Blue band… I ran the opposite direction around the building to help direct presser to my right leg when rounding the corners to help my killer “Shin Splints” from Saturday’s WOD. I so wanted to quit on the last 400 meters, but I just pushed through pain.
HELEN is my new favorite WOD
13:52 Rx. The run really killed me. Able to get straight sets on the KBS but my grip was giving me trouble on the PUs. Not sure what my last time was but this had to be an improvement.

Apologies to Keith tonight for telling you to chill on the encouragement. I have a problem with people cheering me on when I am last and everyone else is done. I have no issue with being last as I almost always am. For some reason it actually makes it harder for me to finish. Anyway, apologies… I did not mean to piss you off.

13:25 RX. The last time I did Helen I was 6 months pregnant at the Southie competition and got 11:52. I really was hoping to beat that today but I just didn’t have it in me. I hope we do this one again in another 2 months so I can compare.
Thanks to everyone for all your help holding the baby and cheering me on as the last one to finish these past couple weeks. It’s really helped me to stay motivated!
